For those of you who are not lucky enough to remember Green Tiger Press ~ they were La Jolla, California printers of the most delicious cards, notes & other paper fancies back in the late 1960's through to their closing in 1986.
This lovely card is a tipped-in, or glued, illustration by Arthur Rackham for the 1912 edition of Aesop's Fables & is titled simply ~
'The Hare and the Tortoise'
An altogether charming card, blank on the inside, it measures 5.125" x 7" (13 x 17.8 cm) & is printed on a beautiful slate gray heavy craft stock paper & comes with a color-match square-flap envelope.
The paper is clean, with no folds or creases, no marks or tears. I will send this out for you flat & protected & by USPS 1st Class.
