Actually, I happen to love almost anything to do with SteamPunk art. This is my version of this art movement brought to my bulb terrariums. In reality, terrariums where invented during the Victorian era by Dr. Nathaniel Ward, called Wardian cases. In fact, botany was one of the most popular of the nineteenth century sciences.
This is the largest of our "steamed" light bulb terrariums with the bulb measuring 3-3/4" in diameter and 7-3/4" in length. It stands 10 1/4" tall as mounted on the SteamPunked stand made of a simulated cherrywood base, copper tubing, chemistry glass, an adjustable 4x magnifying glass and other ornate trimmings. The bulb houses a small solar powered LED bulb that lights itself when all other lights go out and throws a dreamlike shadow pattern on your walls making the perfect night light. It can also be turned on and off with the old fashioned knife switch mounted to the base.
This terrarium will come to you PRE-ASSEMBLED and will be double-boxed and packed with care. It will ship using either USPS Parcel Post within the United States or USPS Priority Mail International to Canada unless requested otherwise**. My packaging is designed to avoid shifting of the terrarium's contents. I will also include a small gardening tool since your terrarium may need a little tweaking after it’s been unpacked.
Your terrarium will need no maintenance since I use only preserved moss.
*Due to pattern complexity, stained glass leading is not actual metal but made of flexible strips, painted to resemble metal.

Also, your finished piece will have minor dissimilarities from the one pictured, but will be very close.
