A piece of quiet, natural beauty, this box is handmade by us from reclaimed aged pine boards with lots of character.
The lid is embellished with an exquisite original woodburning design of a butterfly with delicately handpainted wings in red, black and gold acrylics.
The natural colours of the box are a rich patina of sunburnt browns, achieved by years of exposure to to the elements, especially the sun. The wood is carefully sanded, just enough so it feels nice and smooth to the touch, but at the same time retains its original shades and feeling of character.
Since weathered wood is so unique, the box you receive will be very similar but not totally identical to the photo.
It measures appr. 4 x 4 x 2 inches high (10x10x4.5 cm).
It can be cherished as a keepsake or small jewelry box for years to come.
