This family friendly seder experience for Hanukkah (Chanukah) is perfect for the 1st or 8th night of Hanukkah or to celebrate the Winter Solstice (Tefukat Tevat) in a Jewish way. The reason I like those two nights, is that you light all the candles during the seder. Depending on your culture -- you do that on either the first or last night!
This Hanukkah Haggadah features four stories associated with Hanukkah and has four "courses" related to those stories: fish or soup, olive oil, root vegetables, and cheese.
It's a great way to try something new for Hanukkah or the Winter Solstice. We did it at my house last year, and it was a big hit. It's perfect for adults or kids -- and I think great for interfaith families or gatherings! I had a mixed crowd last year, and everyone really got into it.
