This quilt measures 88 ½” x 101” and is a perfect queen size quilt, although it could be used on a full sized bed as well (shown on a queen bed). It is machine-pieced and hand- quilted in an outline design.
The black fabric strips that separate the star points from the background give the effect of stained glass. Each block in this quilt has another that is its opposite (the background fabric of one block is the star points of the other), and each pair of blocks has stars which are a slightly different shape than other blocks.
This dramatic quilt in greens, blues and yellows is a scrap quilt using 30 different fabrics. It is a fun quilt that is a showpiece for any room. Created in a smoke-free home.
