This vest is upcycled from a vintage dark navy pin striped vest with trim and buttons that I sewed on by hand. Plaid ribbon trim follows the front opening with 2 extra rows of blue mussel shell buttons down the front and a shell button on each pocket flap. Sort of a triple-breasted vest! Definitely one of a kind!
Great for everyday, work or special occasions, this vest can be worn by men or women. The vest has a 5-button front with 2 functional pockets and adjustable back belt. The adjustable belt is located 4 ½ inches ( 11.43 cm) above side/back hem. Vest backs, belts and lining of lining fabric.
The vest had long been separated from its suit when I acquired it. There is no label in the vest; therefore I do not know the exact fiber content. I believe it to be wool or wool blend. DRY CLEANING IS RECOMMENDED.
