The original painting was done in charcoal, acrylics and ink. I made this portrait of my sister-in-law after meeting my husbands family in Tunisia for the first time. The geometrical lines were derived from the angles in her face, and the color palette of earth tones and greens was inspired by the beautiful Tunisian landscape!
