The "Chantal" features a vintage silver Repoussé* coin purse/locket (C. 1930's, stamped "German Silver") that is beautifully embossed (front and back) and still usable (Sometimes referred to as a "Châtelaine"). Women would carry these little silver "purses" with them to hold spare change in lieu of a wallet as we do today. This stunning treasure easily holds dimes and nickels - you know, just in case you ever need them - a train ride to Paris perhaps? :)
The silver locket is suspended from a three-strand necklace composed of faceted rose quartz nuggets, faceted champagne rondelles, faceted freshwater ivory pearls, faceted moonstone rondelles, faceted deep pink topaz nuggets, faceted pink tourmaline rondelles, and a few faceted rose quartz nuggets - all hand linked and scattered asymmetrically throughout the triple strand necklace.
The necklace closes with a sterling silver toggle clasp and for an added touch of sweetness; a vintage pink silk ribbon is tied above the pendant.
The "Chantal" is sweet, feminine, and oh so romantic!!
