♥ I was born & raised in the Deep South and have always loved Delta blues... when I graduated college I immediately moved to Memphis, TN and spent all my time going to Juke Joints and blues shows. I even completed a photo documentation project on the area and culture. When I left the Delta with my husband in 2006, I began painting from my memories. ♥♥ The original Bluesman #1 painting was in an exhibit at The Delta Blues Museum in Clarksdale, MS for over a year and a half from April 2008 to August 2009.
