Ready to wear!
This design of mitts (or fingerless gloves if you'd like) were originally made for my fellow librarian and friend Amanda. The library she was working in was chilly and she needed a couple of slender mitts for using indoors.
The mitts are knitted in wine red wool with crocheted details in bone white alpaca. They measure 28 cm (11.02").
The wool yarn is very light and really soft to the skin, not itchy at all.
The model in the picture has average sized hands and I've made the mitts one-size. They've also been tagged with a marlan heavy ind.-label.
These yarn wonders will be a warm delight for your hands either if it's a little chilly indoors or if it's a mild autumn/winter day.
Even if you don't like books at all..!

**Since these are wool products you should hand wash them carefully in tepid water with some detergent. Be careful not to wring them as this can be devastating for the original form.**
