If you place your Waldorf-inspired stars in a sunny window, the special paper allows you to see the pattern in each point of the stars. It's quite nice to focus solely on the design and not the color.
I make the stars by hand-folding small squares of paper, overlaying the folded paper, and then gluing them together to create different patterns.
Each point (which includes two different layers) involves 16 different folds. With 5 points...that's over 80 folds to make each intricate window star!
The stars measures approximately 6", 8", 12", and 14" inches in diameter.
These stars look lovely on windows all year round.
The stars look wonderful in groups or by themselves.
