The mustard server measures 4.5" by 4.5", there is a small re-glued chip on the edge of the hat - very well done and barely noticeable (see pics). The relish server measures 5" by 3.5" and is in perfect condition. Both have the grooved edge for spoon placement - I wasn't fortunate enough to find the matching spoons:)
Based on my research, I believe that these are Napco (National Potteries Corporation - Bedford, Ohio 1938). I've had other Napco pieces and they've usually retained the foil sticker but the numbering on the bottom (K2595 & K2596) indicates that these are part of the Napco anthropomorphic family.
A plethora of ceramic importers existed during the 1950's time period - Holt Howard was the first to create this unique design...all of the others followed their lead.
A great set!
