About the art work:
This is the third image in this series - "You are" based on the subject of Love.
This image is inspired by an orginal angiogram and the idea of bittersweet love. Based on anatomical references - the heart and the heart beat, this image is an expression of the emotion and feeling you have when you feel that your heart is being powered by the love of another. So much so, that the blood pumping through your body causes your heart to swell or in this case Bloom. You can almost feel it pumping or massaging the rose heart with it's life force of Love.
This image is perhaps a little quirky or geeky and has been described as dark romanticism! It reminds me of dramatic silver screen movies of undying and sometimes tragic love.
The aim in my art work is to directly communicate with the viewer’s subconscious. I hope you enjoy and can perhaps relate to my art as I share with you part of what is intrinsic to each and every one of us within on some level.
