Here's how and why targeted hot and cold therapy can help ease migraine and stress headache pain...
Keep the universal size neck wrap and eye pack in the freezer. When you feel a migraine or stress headache coming on, place the neck wrap around the base of your skull (very important) and the eye pack on your sinus area or forehead. The coolness from the packs helps lessen the excess blood flow to the head and reduce or eliminate that pounding sensation.
Simultaneously, heat the footwarmer inserts in the microwave and tuck inside a large pair of socks or slippers. The heat will help draw the blood flow down to the feet and away from the head.
The great thing about this therapy is that you can use the packs over and over again, it's all natural, and there are no side effects! As with most treatments, the earlier you catch the headache coming on, the better results you'll experience.
