SALE Antique Edwardian Black Embroidered Silk Stockings NOS

Fantastic NEVER BEEN WORN pair of antique Edwardian silk stockings embroidered in a black and pink floral design. Simply beautiful with a back seam, they measure 34" from top to toe and 10" from heel to toe. The embroidery is so intricate the pictures do not even come close to showing how beautiful they are. The embroidery starts at the top of the foot and continues up the front of the leg to mid calf. The dresses during this time were starting to be worn a little shorter so at times a lady's leg might show off the pretty embroidery. These stocking are rare as most surviving examples have been used and are usually in very fragile condition.
