This is an introduction to Erte and an explanation of what I am selling. Place your order and let me know what initial. Here are the price differences in price for just the gold vermiel ($45.00) and the one with sterling silver and/or sterling silver and gold vermiel($85.00)
“Russian born painter Romain de Tirtoff, called himself Erté after the French pronunciation of his initials, was one of the foremost fashion and stage designers of the early twentieth century. Erté is perhaps best remembered for the gloriously extravagant costumes and stage sets that he designed for the Follies-Bregère in Paris and George White's Scandals in New York, which exploited to the full his taste for the exotic and romantic, and his appreciation of the sinuous and lyrical human figure.” For more details about The Father of Art Deco, you can click on this link: http://www.erte.com/default-old.htm
The initial pendants and pins were designed by Erte as part of his magnificent jewelry creations. I have access to purchase his gold vermeil, gold vermeil & sterling silver or just sterling silver initials. I take them and design OOAK necklaces for them. You can request fancy, simple, detailed, delicate, colorful, etc. Most of them have tiny rubies or sapphires, so I often add matching Swarovski crystals. I have sold necklaces as gifts for an Erte fan of 12 years old to women in their 60’s. This could also be made into a bracelet.
There is a wait time of at least 2 weeks, as the initial has to be ordered and then I have to design the necklace. I would recommend ordering 3 weeks before you need it. They are not always in stock, so, I will have to let you know at the time of purchase if initial is available. As an alternative option, you can order the more expensive version with sterling silver. It is beautiful and well worth the difference in price if you can afford it. If it is no longer available, I will give you a full refund.
I have a few in stock and these will be marked “available immediately”, although I still have to make the necklace.
The initials are of men and women in unusual positions to create each letter of the alphabet. I am posting each letter separately as each is unique and an item of beauty. He designed in a very flamboyant manner for the stage, opera and the silver screen.
Convo me with any questions and if shipping outside the US. Comes in an Erte gift box, ready to give.
