This handmade glass bead is a rust red with natural striations in the colour, accented by a silver based band across the center. This gives it a sandy sedimentary rock appearance. This series of beads are inspired by natural rocks, like agate and malachite, and pair well with them. The bead pictured here is photographed with carnelian beads, these are not part of the listing.

It measures 19mm across and the hole runs top to bottom. The hole size is 1.5mm. It is gently curved front and back and has a depth of 9mm.

All of my beads are made by me, in my home studio in California. They are made from American and European glass and are kiln annealed.
