Complete your medieval or gothic outfit with this dramatic necklace. I've named it Eleanor Royale and have tatted it in black cotton thread. It is part of my Frivolite Medieval Collection. The idea for this piece came from my Eleanor pattern. I decided to tat four together and this is the result.
The motif is slightly under 3 1/4 inches (81mm) wide by 3 1/4 inches (81mm) long. It is attached to a sheer organza black ribbon, of approximately 12 inches, by a silver plated split ring. The ends of the ribbon are securely attached to silver plated leather crimps. This necklace is fastened using a silver plated bolt ring and a 50mm silver plated extension chain with a tear drop. A miniscule amount of diluted PVA glue has been used to secure the ends.
