Connection no. 4 is embroidered in slate, aqua and yellow on beautiful homespun linen that is between 80-120 years old. There is a red and blue thread connecting the hearts of the two women symbolizing that no matter how far apart they are their profound connection remains. The porcelain doll arms are from Germany and were excavated from the grounds of an old doll factory that operated between 1890-1920. Each piece is framed in a vintage metal embroidery hoop that is 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The piece is backed with wool felt and is signed and dated on the back. It hangs with vintage lace ribbon..
