These gorgeous birds are part of a new series I am calling Arboretum. Each is slip cast from vintage molds using a buff colored stoneware clay instead of porcelain to give them that beautiful aged look. They are covered in a fantastic Peking Turquoise Blue clear crackle glaze that is absolutely stunning. You won't be disappointed with these beautiful birds perched among your plants, your favorite books or just sitting on a ledge. This listing is for the Blue Jay. There is also a chickadee and a robin available if you want to collect all three. Each arrives in a beautiful natural box tied with twine and cushioned in lovely nesting material, perfect for gift giving.
