The hexagons in this pillow have been hand sewn to form a cross shape. The cross was then machine appliqued onto a heavy white linen. The fabrics used are a mix of French vintage, recycled and new cotton fabrics.
The back of this cushion is also in white linen.
Honeycomb patchwork quilts make my heart melt. This labour intensive technique originated in England in the 18th century. It absolutely celebrates a 'mend and make do' attitude to life.
- This listing is for the cover only, it does not include the inner pad to save on shipping. Please contact me if you would like to purchase the cover with pad.
- Envelope closure on the back.
