This is part of the recent series of lamps I am creating. I am turning old, vintage collectibles in to every day "usables". Everyone has those small chachkas floating around their home, those great 1950s tea kettle, the old polaroid manual cameras, and even just kitsch appliances. They are great collectibles, but, in the end, they simply take up space. That is why I am taking these great kitsch items and making them functional again. So you have the versatility of actually using a collectible.
