This print is of an actual painting that is part of a very successful series of paintings celebrating the beauty of meat, and more specifically, BACON!
The challenge of painting this was because of the perfume of the subject. I work from life and the cooked bacon naggingly made me salivate the whole time I was painting this.
Now that the original (8.25"x8.25") has been sold, this high quality archival reproduction of it is available here, for you! It's printed on 8x 10" paper and ready to frame! The quality of the image has prompted a few people to ask if these prints are infact paintings. No, but the detail shows clearly that there's no dot pattern.
All of the meat paintings are available in full color print, at half of life size :prints(6x6" image) on 8x10" paper and shipped protected in clear acid free sleeves and ready for framing. They look great in groupings too: see my site for the meat grid image!
