I have gone into my archives and unearthed a stash of vintage Green Tiger Press ephemera that I will be listing in my Etsy shop.
This postcard depicts the theme of the month of "March" as drawn by Kate Greenaway (1846 - 1901) for her 1890 Almanac.
A young girl wearing a flowing green cape and pumpkin-colored empire-style dress is out walking on a blustery March day; her hat has blown off and she is in the midst of retrieving it under a bare tree.
This image was exactingly reproduced by the legendary Green Tiger Press in La Jolla, San Diego County, California, on a four-color Heidelberg printing press in the early 1980's: this is an authentic vintage postcard displaying all the attention to detail for which the Green Tiger Press was justifiably famous.
I worked for the Green Tiger Press for a short time when I first moved to California and was an avid collector of their images from children's books. When the business was sold in the mid-1980's, I went to their closing sale and stocked up on books, notecards, bookplates, and postcards.
I do have a number of these in stock, so if you would like multiples, please send me a message through the Etsy conversations feature and I will update my listing for the amount you would like. I am happy to combine shipping charges on multiple purchases on any items in my shop.

The full-color image is printed on card stock and the reverse is blank except for descriptive text in the lower left-hand corner (as shown in photo number two above). Picture three shows a few additional images that will be available in my shop as I list them.
Shipping will be by First Class U.S. mail; upgrades to Priority Mail and insurance can be arranged. Items shipped to California will be charged state sales tax of 8.75% at check-out.
