The heart of the Firebird features a rare red tone Elgin watch movement with 17 ruby jewels- a gorgeous machine with prominent ruby jewels and myriad silver and gold gears. This is mounted on reddish brass paratrooper wings from the military (US?), in turn is set onto a filigree adjustable brass band in matching copper tone. First two images are of the actual ring and second two of a previously sold similar one (different band). Truly Stunning and made to be the topic of many a conversation, to be sure!
