The cover of this leather journal is reddish brown cowhide, with marbled colour variations.There is a wide tab on the fore edge as a closure. Book size is about 8½" X 5½" (21.5cm X 14cm).
There are 384 pages (when you count both sides of each sheet) and the paper colour is white, with torn edges.
The pages are handbound using a longstitch binding, sewn with linen thread and visible on the spine. This type of binding makes a very sturdy and practical book structure that opens flat.
