Who's Sir Ernest Shackleton?
Sir Ernest Shackleton was an explorer who led several expeditions to the Antarctic but is perhaps best known for his Endurance Expedition. After the Endurance (his ship) got stuck in ice, the ship ultimately went down leaving the crew stranded in treacherous conditions; amazingly everyone survived.
This design was inspired by Shackleton's Endurance Expedition and features Shackelton in the foreground in black. A cold blue and white background depicts Shackleton and crew trying to break their ship free from the ice. Sir Ernest reminds us that without difficulties we would have nothing to overcome.
