The first tote bag I ever made was for my dear friend Amy. I caught her one night carrying her lovely knitting project in a plastic grocery bag with holes in it. A couple of months later for Christmas I made her a special tote bag for her to use instead. She's been using it ever since. I'm now bringing the Amy Tote to you.

This simple style tote bag measures approx 16w x 5d x 13h and the straps are 18" long.

The exterior of the bag is made with a black double faced quilted material, featuring a strip of fabric with black geisha silhouettes on a cream background on the outside of the bag. The under part of the strap as well as the interior, is the same black geisha silhouettes on a cream background fabric.

This bag pattern is a Kid Giddy original. The inside lining does not separate from the outside quilted material at the seam. This unique pattern prevents shifting of fabric on the inside. It is 100 percent reversible. The straps are double sewn for strength and support.

For best care, machine wash cold with like colors and hang to dry.
