The rubellite cluster is about 1 1/4" long, 15/16" wide, and over 1/2" tall. I have bezel set it onto a platform of sterling silver, which I sawed into an organic shape. This form mimics the shape of the tourmaline.
The bezel and bezel platform were both finished in a brushed texture. The impressive ring band was hammered, or forged, from a thick piece of 10 gauge round sterling silver. The entire surface was textured with my ball peen hammer.
This ring is sized at around a 9 1/4". I cannot be made smaller, but can be sized up slightly (to around a size 10).
