This is a silver-tone gear base which is adorned by an an antiqued brass watch part with wings. The pendant hangs from a gun-metal chain with silver-tone accents at the sides and bottom. The pendant measures about 2 inches by 1.5 inches. The chain measures approximately 18 inches and could be adjusted to be shorter. This item comes gift-boxed, making it an excellent present. I have noted the colors of each metal part, because monitors vary, and I want to ensure that the piece is accurately presented. Inspired by both the steampunk movement and the art of Salvador Dali.
I find inspiration in victorian ephemera, art nouveau and art deco, and the fantastical worlds of science fiction such as those portrayed by H.G. Wells and Jules Verne.
