This is a brass, diamond-shaped locket adorned with a silver-tone octopus, in the style of the victorian era. You can put a small photo in the locket or leave it blank if you wish. The locket hangs from a gun-metal chain with antiqued brass accents at the sides and bottom. The locket measures approximately 1.5 x 1.25 inches. The chain measures approximately 18 inches and could be adjusted to be shorter. This item comes gift-boxed, making it an excellent present. I have noted the colors of each metal part, because monitors vary, and I want to ensure that the piece is accurately presented.
I find inspiration in victorian ephemera, art nouveau and art deco, and the fantastical worlds of science fiction such as those portrayed by H.G. Wells and Jules Verne.
