[NOTE: Since taking these pictures, I have trimmed the strings where they are attached to the sticks.]
Origami figures of some of the largest creatures ever to walk the earth dangle from sticks and strings, rotating gently with the slightest movements of air in this rustic-yet-elegant origami mobile.
Represented dinosaurs include Tyrannosaurus Rex, Brontosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Plesiosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Pterodactyl (2), and Mesosuarus (3).
I have folded this origami mobile from marbled paper in different colored patterns. Most figures are folded from 1 square; the Triceratops is a composite of two squares; the Pterodactyls are each folded from 1 rectangle. The figures are suspended from sticks with durable twine-like string that has been lightly glued in position on the sticks to keep the mobile balanced.
Measures (overall) about 32" wide x 36" tall
Largest individual figure about 10" long; smallest about 5" long

CARE AND STORAGE: Most origami will retain its shape well over time, although you may have to press some folds if they start to spread out with changes in the dryness of the air that affect paper. To store your origami safely, press it flat along its fold lines and tuck it into an envelope or a flat box with tissue.
