Each cuff is drawn and etched by me from drawings in my sketchbook or to specifications of the customer, no two are exactly alike. (custom symbol additions/replacements for the patterning on the surface are welcome) ~ I can also just make one as similar to the one pictured as possible, if desired.
Design came from an idea about making jewelry that is both beautiful/seductive and threatening. I think I pulled it off with this one.

Process:
free hand drawing
etching
sawing out the form from the plate
filing down rough edges
hammering around a form to make it fit wrist comfortably
tumbling in a tumbler with steel shot (for smoothness)
oxidizing (blackening and applying patina) repeated exposures
sanding (to bring out relief of raised lines)
sealing (to retain oxidation and patina)
Custom Sizing:
Please find your wrist and arm measurements for me. Cut a strip of paper or use a string to wrap around your wrist for the first measurement and 4" up your arm from that point for the second measurement. Mark where the ends overlap around both places (fitting snuggly but not tight). This will give me the circumference of both areas to custom make a cuff that will fit you perfectly. The cuff is also adjustable (pliable) so you can adjust it to fit comfortably after you receive it. I like to get exact measurements also though.
