For the making of this bee I arranged several little pieces of paper that I carefully cut with a sharp knife and scissors.
I gave volume to the pieces by pressing them from the backside with a wooden tool. Then the parts were glued together with acid free glue.
The paper used is white and acid-free as well.
This bee is a curiosity that would look great framed in a shadow box.
The piece is signed and dated on the back with pencil.
Each one of my bees is an original because I make them individually, that’s why each one is slightly different. But they all look as beautiful and special as the one in the pictures.
