The advent candle holder ("Adventsleuchter") holds four candles and is painted bright red with a gold star in the middle. The round piece that the star inserts into has four small holes drilled into it, which would have held small angels (now missing). The candle holder almost completely dissasembles. The half circles that hold the candles have small metal inserts.
The mark on the bottom, a pine tree and the letters DRE (the rest is smudged), is from the Dregeno company. It's hard to know the age, since these have been manufactured for the past century, but this is probably 1960s or later.
The candle holder is in very good condition, with surprisingly few signs of wear or age to the glossy paint. The metal inserts are rusty but functional.
