I am specifically thinking of the tomatoes on my favorite seasonal sandwich -- the tartina -- which is only made in summer when the tomatoes are freshest. You make it with a nice hunk of foccacia, layer it with a fat slice of heirloom tomato, a slab of fresh mozzarella, and drizzle with pesto and vinaigrette. You have to eat it sitting on the garden patio at the most charming café in the world, and it is the most perfect thing you can imagine.
Anyway -- you're here about the earrings. They're adorable and handmade and wired on brass. If anyone asks, you can choose whether to call them apples or tomatoes (or even a crispy yellow plum or a sweet pale peach or whatever else they might evoke for you, I am sure it is something delicious).
