Bright Red Stay-put Ascot Hand Knit Scarf Stay in Place Scarflette is an old "traditional" pattern. It has a loop on both ends so one end goes through the other -- you never have to worry about it coming undone. It covers the back of your neck with warmth, and fits nicely under or over coat or jacket. As children, we always wore them under snowsuits to keep our neck and chest extra warm. Yes, my mother was making these scarves 70 years ago when I was a child, so I guess you could call it really "vintage or antique." I resurrected the pattern for my grandkids, and want to share these great scarves with you.

This scarf measures 7 inches wide and 32" long, neck portion (between loops) is 16". The ends cross nicely across the chest, and under a coat, keep you very warm. I can also make this in any color or specific yarn you would like, convo me for details for custom orders -- colors and sizes. It can also be made with a contrasting cord running through the loop as shown in the one in the last picture. Easy care, machine washable, dry flat, the yarn is 100% acrylic. With all my knitted things, though, I prefer to hand wash in warm water, they stay nicer so much longer that way.

I also ship internationally, and if I should overestimate shipping costs by more than $1.00 I will refund the difference via PayPal or Amazon Payments, which I also accept.
