The top of this pincushion/mini pillow is sewn almost completely by hand. It is considered a type of quilting, even though there is not any actual quilting on the pillow. It is a very labor-intensive pattern and the pincushion/pillow top is quite heavy because each white square is four layers thick. I took this traditional pattern and gave it a modern twist using today's modern fabrics.
I stuffed it with a high quality poly-fil that is hypo-allergenic.
It measures 5" square.
