A lovely mustard and brown celluloid button and brass anchor button from the U.S. Navy are a perfect match in this vintage button brooch by Callooh Callay. The celluloid button is a tight top, with mustard yellow at the bottom and top and a brownish stripe across the middle. It has a central motif of a diamond with recessed areas around it and a detailed pattern molded in the center. On top of this is a small uniform button with an anchor and rope; its background stripes complement the pattern on the celluloid button.
The brooch is about 1 1/2 inches (3.7 cm), and the pinback is silverplate.
