the box and the canisters are in excellent condition. the set comes in a vivid teal blue, bright olive green, and bright orange. under the first lid is another lid, and inside one of the canisters was a plastic bag that i assume tea had came in. inside the box is also a little folded card with japanese writing on it.

i think they would be great in a kitchen, or for storing buttons or other supplies. they measure 3 1/2 inches tall.
