Most of my ACEOs contain calligraphy - in this case, on the back, which gives the title, date, place, and my contact info in Copperplate calligraphy. There is also room on the back for your own personal message, if you use this piece as a special card.
ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals, an offshoot from the popular and frequently traded (never sold) Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) - the original work-of-art calling cards traded among artists that were the brainchild of M. Vänçi Stirnemann, who held trading sessions for artists in Zürich, Switzerland, in 1996. I like them as a way of acquiring a small work of original art.
All ACEOs and ATCs are 2½ inches × 3½ inches (64 mm × 89 mm).
