Since Pea Green City went over so well, I decided to make a similar one, only bigger and sturdier. This sturdy bag has all the details of it's littler cuz'. The bag exterior is made from a really pretty thrifted chartreuse woven upholstery fabric. The front has a handy divided pocket with a scalloped flap perfect for cell phones or small trinkets and detailed with vintage polka dot trim. The back of the bag showcases a handmade Kokka applique with sweet anthropomorphic animals in a-line dresses holding hands. There is another similar applique on the inside of the bag and then two little Kokka birds appliqued onto the strap and under the front flap. The scalloped flap of this bag is lined with a plush wale-less vintage corduroy in taupe. The inside of the bag is lined with a reinforced pea green vintage calico from my personal stash and sports a divided interior pocket. Not to mention wavy free form top stitching on the front flap and strap. I don't have enough of the chartreuse fabric leftover to make any more bags, so once this one is gone, it's time for a Jazz Funeral.
