These earrings are made from Lignum Vitae. These beautiful rare hardwood earrings are made from cutoffs from a log that was used for underwater bearings for a Hydro Electric plant in Manitoba... We were fortunate enough to score these cutoffs! Rounded rectangle shape, with sapwood and heart wood. The sapwood is a beautiful yellow and the heartwood is a golden brown with green tones. These earrings are striking and unique!!
Each wood piece we make goes through many stages of sanding and finishing. Gold - plated ear wires.
