This is a beautiful, Victorian inspired necklace featuring a picture of a famous countess, a mysterious masked woman. The pendant measures approximately 1.5 inches by 1.25 inches. The filigree setting, chain, and accents are all silver-tone. The chain measures approximately 18 inches and could be adjusted to be shorter. This lovely piece comes gift-boxed, making it an excellent present. I have noted the patinas of the metal, because monitors vary, and I want to ensure that the piece is accurately presented.
I find inspiration in victorian ephemera, art nouveau and art deco, and the fantastical worlds of science fiction such as those portrayed by H.G. Wells and Jules Verne. I am a great fan of Victoriana and esoteric imagery, particularly anatomica and the macabre.
