This is THE original dinosaur cabinet! We needed something to hold our growing collection of records and discovered there isn’t much to choose from anywhere that is affordable and attractive, so we decided to take on the task ourselves!

This is what we ended up with. It features edge-glued pine wood, dado insert cuts for stability and really awesome retro 50’s legs. The back piece is a simple ¼” plywood piece tacked in for even more durability. (This piece is not seen if the cabinet is put up against a wall.)

This cabinet is just the right size, combining the old-school looks of a low, long cabinet with the practicality of a smaller piece of furniture for smaller pads. The Brontosaurus is 4’ long, 16” deep and 20.5” tall (including the legs). Each of the 3 cubbies measure 14.5" wide and 13.5" tall, plenty of space to be able to flip through your collection easily.

We will specially make each cabinet to fit your color choice and choice of finish. Please see the Minwax colors page for color options:

http:\/\/minwax.com\/products\/wood_stains\/water_based_wood_stain.html#Colors

You will also have the option of a satin, semi-gloss or gloss protective finish.

As we will be building them as we receive orders, please allow 1-2 weeks for us to build and stain your cabinet. If you live in the central Florida area, we can arrange for a pick-up or delivery option, please convo us and we’ll get you all set up.

Finally, for those of you not living in Florida, you will be charged no sales tax and will receive your Brontosaurus flat-packed for its safety. Minimal assembly is required (you'll need a screwdriver, a hammer, and something to hold it together while the glue dries). Please see our policies page for more info.

Please feel free to convo or email us with any questions we may not have covered. Thanks for looking!!
