Paul's Bent Ebony Billiard with a Handmade Stem

This pipe is made of Spanish briar, with a handmade Lucite stem. This pipe has a large airway for large puffs. Several coats of ebony stain make this a striking pipe when paired with the white stem. The contrast in the different grains shows nicely in good light.

The Lucite stem material arrives as a square rod. After drilling the airways the excess material is shaved away and the stem is shaped, fitted to the wood, and then is sanded and polished smooth.
