This is a new technique. I have hand covered two lightweight 12 mm wooden beads but Before I covered the beads I hand sew lovely small beads (olives) and embroider branches and leaves onto the fabric. This piece of fabric is a discontinued swatch from a designer. It looks like a silk tafata-but I can not say for sure. I can say that I love the sheen and texture of it!
These are very unique in design! They measure almost 2 inches from the top of the antiqued brass ear wire to the bottom of the handmade bead.
Your OLIVE BRANCH Earrings will be made with the very same materials...however each pair will be slightly unique due to the handmade nature of things.
