Cured faux polymer turquoise was chopped and added to a translucent clay, formed into a cane then sliced. The result is dimensional and very textured.
Two other canes were formed from turquoise, green and translucent polymer. The "white" is glow-in-the-dark, just for fun! These smooth areas were sanded and buffed to a shine.
These various cane slices were layered onto translucent polymer and formed into a comfortable curve which hugs your neck. A light touch of brown antiquing was added for additional depth.
The beads were combined with silver bali-style base metal spacer and wood beads and strung on a dark brown leather cord which ends in sterling silver end caps. A base metal bali-style toggle closure pulls it together.
Dimensions: center focal bead approximately 2" x 1 1/2"; overall length 19 1/2".
