Inspiration comes from the coolest places, doesn't it? One of my favorite things to do is to take a design from one medium and translate it into another. Houndstooth seems to have found its way back into fashion. What was once on fabric, is now in beads and provides the perfect background for the 2010 Best of Show!
The bracelet will be sheer fun to wear. It won't get in the way of your computer work, your crafts, your dinner, your dancing. It weighs so little you may actually forget you're wearing it...but not for long because everyone else will notice it, especially your fellow dog lovers.
This bracelet is woven in peyote stitch using Japanese delica beads in simple black, red, and white. It is just under 1.9" wide and 6" long. The closure consists of a beaded loop and toggle created in the black and red beads.
