These one-of-a-kind hand-carved bowls, made from the Mexican white wood ‘Copal’ are heartbreakingly beautiful. They are sold in a set of 3 which includes one of each size bowl: Small, Medium, Large. There is no dye or varnish used on these bowls, they are food safe and as seen in the following photos, can be used for food such as sauces and nuts, or more creatively can be used to hold flowers- they’d make for lovely center pieces for a country wedding. Since they are hand-carved, no two are alike, therefore sizes and shapes vary slightly, but we think this is what makes them even more special. I have tested these bowls out thoroughly (i use them daily for something because they are so pretty!) and this wood ‘Copal’ though off-white in color and unstained, does not seem to retain color from bright colored food or sauces. They must be hand-washed with a mild dish soap and hand dried.
